Jokes aside, Magic: The Gathering is one of the most unfair card games ever made. How could you make a "Magic/Pokemon Clone" and ensure that you are not making unfair cards?

By the way, I'm aware of ways of Scientifically ranking cards in TCGs, such as the "Rule of Four". If a card breaks the Rule of Four, it is usually over-powered.

The developers of Gin Rummy and of Magic: The Gathering are not even trying to make a fair game. Magic costs thousands of dollars to make a competitive deck, so one would think that there should be some sort of onus on the developer to make it as fair as possible.
