My bestie and I liked annoying my sister a lot, knocking on her bedroom door when she's with her friend or trying to lock it by tying string around handle and stuff. Got her very annoyed.

We also bunked of school and hung out in park. Sometimes hiding in bushes or climbing trees and scaring people walking past.

Very funny having your bestie and you annoy your sister. It’s always nice having a partner in crime growing up lol.
And that is really adorable thinking you two hiding in bushes / climbing trees just to scare those walking by haha.

Aww thanks for the MHO. She was a great best friend. We were both very tomboyish. We got caught by police on the school roof after hours too once. We wee like 10 or 11 I think.

Teacher. HS senior pranks were great. Best one was they bought 20K forks & stuck them in the football field spelling "Stick a fork in it! We out! Seniors 2004"

The "thong incident" wasn't a prank but the most awesome event I've ever witnessed in an American HS.

Oh boy... Here we go... Last day of school and it's mid-June and hot...

The seniors decided to have a water balloon fight in the main staircase which was now completely wet and slippery and the bell was about to ring.

My OLDER AP got the megaphone and went to the bottom of the stairs as the bell rang and as the kids were coming down the stairs He was loudly bellowing "It's slippery!! Ladies take your thongs off".

We younger teachers were aghast, flabbergasted, shocked, stunned. The HS girls had the BEST WTF faces I've ever seen!! We ran up to him saying "X WTF are you doing?"

HIM: "Im concerned they'll fall down and get hurt.

US: "X... and we explained what a thong is"

Him: "But flip flops are called thongs too..."

And THAT'S how he found out that things have two meanings...

There was an old fashioned metal phone booth near the gardens where I used to play with a friend from primary school. And the gardens had a number of wild apple trees. So we waited for someone to use the phone and then pelted the booth with apples! :-D

You’ll be happy to know Apples hitting the phonebooth is what inspired Apple to make the first iPhone 🤯
