I’m afraid to dance in a party. What can I do?

A friend told me that she prefers to dance with men who know how to dance more than her. She takes dance classes. And I only dance a little bit, I only took one class. I’m afraid women wouldn’t want me to dance with them because they prefer expert dancers as well. And I can’t join a dance class because I’d be in the corner all by myself while everybody is paired up. Everyone prefers to fail a class than to work with me. I’d be either standing doing nothing on class or attempt to dance by myself but doesn’t look good. Yeah no one wants me as a dance partner. So what can I do? Just don’t worry nor think about it. I don’t go to parties that often. And when I do, I just don’t dance.

The main thing that I struggled with was to be more open and enjoying, so whenever there was a dance party, i used to sit at one corner quietly, not willing to join people during dance because i was so shy. Then slowly people stopped asking, the main thing was I was insecure of being judged by people who themselves didn’t know how to dance, for them it was just enjoyment!
If u need to blend in, then take this one advice …
Pay attention to yourself and the music, no attention towards other people! If you don’t care what others think, then they also don’t pay attention.
