My mom and I never celebrated Christmas when I was a child, but still I used to love Christmas.

The True Meaning of Christmas

I always wanted to celebrate Christmas, for me Christmas was THE day in the year. I liked Christmas more than I liked my birthday. But as a child I never had a Christmas day, we started putting up a tree when my little sister was born and since her we did start to slowly do something.

As a child and still today I love the idea of family getting together and making each other happy by giving small gifts. It's not about getting gifts and throwing out your money but more about putting the people you love first and making them happy by thinking about them and well, giving them something and putting a smile on their face.

Moreover just being together in harmony and being there for each other. Sitting together, taking time for each other, in a world where time is so rare and important and valuable. We should all use not only Christmas, but the whole year to be there for the people we love.

We should show them our love and support. Be kind to each other and also be thankful, because if you look around there are even small things to be happy for.

We can be so grateful for having people who love us and having a lot of opportunities in life.
