Why do people get offended when I tell them I don't celebrate Christmas?

same shit every year. I agree with you i dont like festivals too
People are small-minded and if you don't celebrate Christmas that is your opinion
Yeah its not like I am telling others they can't celebrate it you know? I just don't others to force it on me or like peer pressure me into celebrating it.
@blondfrog Yes Its understanding and people shouldn't place stress on you over a Holiday
Thanks For MHO :)
I am not offended at all. The ones that are offended are simply small minded.

It is what it is, people get offended by everything nowadays.
Clearly this is Playstation Boobs
I beg to differ my Kurdish friend
ok, serious answer. People get attacked these days for saying Merry Christmas. The latest idiocy on that is that some white girls are claiming that it is white supremacy. In a society where people are attacking something that you love you might just mix all of these things together and become hostile to something like what you said
I have Jewish and Islamic friends that don't celebrate and its not a problem for me. If someone told me that they don't celebrate it because it is racist then I would probably stop talking to them.
Yeah I think what those white girls said is ridiculous too. If someone says Merry Christmas to me I just say it back. I meant when a friend will ask me what I did for that day and when I respond by saying "oh I don't celebrate Christmas". Then that's where the whole conversation starts and where they act offended sometimes or shocked that dont.
They have no right to be offended. I can understand if they are surprised because of assumptions that they may have made but they have no ight to be offended
This angers me big time
That's fine by me. I'm not offended.
