How to you get your music?

I used to set up a turntable so I could play old Christmas albums. This year I found all the albums on You Tube so I just played them through my TV.

I have about 200 home made CD's with my music on them. But I will have to transfer all the music to USB to play in my car. But I listen to Sirius XM radio most of the time in my car. When at home I just stick 5 CD's in a changer and am good for about an hour. I also have a player that plays MP-3 CD's. I can put like 60 songs on 1 MP-3 CD, so I can play music until I get sick of it. LOL

I bought some MP-3 discs on eBay that has 10,000 songs on them, from the 40's through 2000. So yes, I can go for a month straight listening to music.

I have CD's I've turned into MP3's but I do both, depending how and where. I also do a lot of streaming, Youtube music right now but previously was Spotify. I also, occasionally do OTA Radio too.

cool. I stream a radio show that is on Saturdays and record it with Audacity and turn it into MP3s and load it on my MP3 player and listen to it at the gym.

I have a few thousand albums and CDs. I have digitized quite a few. The albums I have digitized are not available on CD. It can be quite labor intensive to remove hiss and pops and clicks, but for some albums it is worth it.

That said, I miss CDs. And, I sort of miss cassettes but CDs were nirvana. Pun not intended.

I always look for everything on vinyl. If that is not an option, I buy the CD. I never download anything, as I don't like paying for thin air.

What do you have for a turntable? I still use my old Technics direct drive with a Pickering cartridge.

I listen to Oldies from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. All of these are all that a local station plays. They are both on the air and on a website, playing the same music.

Digital. I have a 6 hour Christmas playlist on my iPod. Even my kids prefer my playlist 🤗

Normally, vinyl or shellac but, all of mine has been in storage for the past 3 years (as of last Sun.) so, if I don't already have it in MP3's on my computer, I can find most of it online on YT and DL it as MP3's. OK?
