The perfect Christmas gift for a long-distance relationship? That's a heartwarmer! It's all about bridging that physical gap and making your significant other feel close, even when they're miles away. Here are a few ideas that I think hit the mark:
Customized Gifts: Something like a custom piece of jewelry or a keychain with coordinates of a special place you both love.
Handwritten Letters: Old-school, I know, but imagine a bundle of letters, each to be opened at specific moments or when they're feeling a certain way. It adds a personal touch that texts just can't match.
Care Packages: Fill a box with their favorite snacks, a cozy sweater or scarf that smells like you, maybe a book you love or a playlist of songs that mean something to both of you. It's like sending a hug in a box.
Virtual Experience Gifts: Book an online class or experience you can do together, like a cooking class, a virtual escape room, or a wine tasting session.
Custom Video Message: Compile messages from friends and family, or create a heartfelt video message yourself.
Countdown Calendar: Create a calendar counting down the days until you see each other next, with little notes or photos for each day.
Digital Picture Frame: Pre-load it with pictures of the two of you together. Some frames allow you to add photos remotely, so you can keep updating it with new memories.
Remember, it's the thought and effort that count the most. A gift that shows you understand them and cherish your relationship will always be a hit.

Possibly, something to wear? Maybe a very nice cashmere scarf, if you live in a cold climate, or if you know his /her size, a nice leather coat.
I have both, one given to me and the other I bought. A lady friend GAVE me a beautiful, hand made, leather coat she bought in Florence, Italy, and I bought the beautiful long cashmere scarf and gloves to go with it. It DOES get cold here in California.
For me, something I can wear that reminds me of who gave it and who they are. WARM

1 yTake a drive around where you live and take a video of what you see so that the other person can also see the sights of where you live. Show them the good, but also the bad. Be real as possible. I mean if they have never been to where you live. Plus that way you can tell if they are catfishing you.

1 yEnding the "long-distance" in the relationship would alter the dynamic and bring reality to bear.
If the LD has been going on more than a few weeks, it's been going on too long. Meet in person and find out if it'll really work out. Good luck.

1 yI would buy a movie and send it to them. Cause most people don’t know whether a movie is good or bad until they’ve watched it, but if you’ve watch 70 movies and know a really good one they’ve never seen before, you can mail them a copy.
00 ReplyI Used to Put a Medium Box Of Goodies and His Favorites for Him and His Family. But Costly to Send. GIFT CARD Too on Amazon from His Country. xxoo

1 yLong distance phone card. Oh, wait- that was about 20 years ago.
10 Replyisn't it a bit late for that?
10 ReplyI’d say it’s more about the person than the gift.
But since we’re talking gifts, I would agree with other people and say meeting them in person. Or a card since it’s simple and sincere.

1 yA surprise visit would be the perfect Christmas gift but if that’s not attainable I suppose the next best thing is to have something they really enjoy delivered to their home - maybe some naughty FaceTime too, haha.

1 yFlowers. Shows you’re thinking of them. Or if it’s a guy they might prefer a video game. Tbh every person has different stuff they want but I think everyone likes flowers.

The KJV Bible? Then they can read how Jesus never talked about people celebrating his birth or pagan holidays. It's so self gratifying I think most people forget about God.

silence is not PROOF in either direction. silence can mean not obligated to celebrate but does not mean must NOT celebrate his birth. in fact DUE to not knowing the date we celebrate annually now.

I don't recall talking about silence. At any rate, since it says in the book of john... in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God, it's safe to say that aside from the fact Jesus is the word, that he was here in the beginning far before Mary was born.
Surprise visit that other person! and planned a beautiful baecation!

a surprise is risky because the partner might already have plans or not be at home.
1 yThe perfect? One move.
that’s how it happened with me and my husband who moved together and married now. We were LD for 4 years.10 Reply
1 yIt's less about the distance and more about the person. Can mention some random gifts but without knowing the person it's kinda useless. You should know best

1 yLong distance of necessity due to school / work where you have met and enjoyed each other's company? Long distance where you've never met in person? The former should be more extensive than the latter.

1 yDepends on he deeply the relationship is and how serious it is. For entry, a high resolution and framerate web-camera. More intimate, there's haptic devices that come in pairs; then there's sex toys that work long distance via wifi connection..
