How do you get on with Christmas if you are sad about a loved one not being there cause they are in heaven?

I really miss my granny and it’s making me sad

Hi Lauren and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁

So you are sad about a loved one being in heaven during Christmas. I realize that it's very hard when you miss them especially at Christmas time and they were always there for Christmas in the past.

I was living with my man who I was so in love with but sadly he passed away suddenly last year in September. This is my second Christmas without him here with me and I am all alone.

He was the one who always made all of the holidays special. He made Christmas 🎄🎁 for us very special. He would put up Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations up at the same time in our apartment.

It's really hard for me to be without him because he was always happy and in a great mood no matter what.

But I can rest easy on Christmas because I know that he is in heaven. If I thought he wasn't in heaven I wouldn't be able to get through Christmas without feeling really bad.

Pretty soon the holidays will be over but I just know they wouldn't want us to be sad at Christmas and I am sure they would tell us not to be sad at Christmas because they are in heaven with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Christmas is the day we celebrate Jesus' birthday. That's something to be happy about.🙂

Take a year off and relax and don't worry about it, plan for a nice Christmas next year.

My grandparents are all in next world. I don't think they would want us to be happy. They would be upset if we feel sad they are gone. They want us to do what they couldn't do. Perhaps do something to make the society a better place

Missing Granny doesn’t have to make you sad. Do the things that she would do with you and remember the good times with her. Honor her by doing the things she taught you. Remember her and thank her for the time you two shared.
