Do looks matter?

So people say looks don't matter it's all about the personality, personally I think that is bs you see how that person is physically first and if you find them attractive than you get to know them, then and only then it's when personality can make or break a person. When I say that looks matter I mean whatever a person is into a boy might like a green eyed girl over a brown eyed because he finds that physicallyattractive. Beauty fades over time but initially it's looks that made you recognize that person in the first place. After the looks fade you won't really notice because now you get to know them in a deeper level.
