There used to be a societal expectation for women to remain chaste before marriage. That expectation didn’t apply to men. It was based on sexist and hypocritical values that aimed to restrict female sexuality while men get a social pass to be promiscuous. Then the sexual revolution happened that broke it down, but it’s still residual in some individuals and groups.
I mean I want my future husband to appreciate that I chose him to be my first and last man. This is a big turn on and a requirment.
And that’s fine. But wouldn’t you like him to extend the same courtesy to you? I think it would be wise that you do.

To me the type of marriage I want is a dream.
It has nothing to do with being “too good.” It has to do with expectations of loyalty and competition. I’ll tell you where I’m coming from here. I know of many promiscuous men who are particularly preoccupied with finding a future wife who is a virgin. They want that because they expect a woman’s sexual loyalty but refuse to give that same sexual loyalty to her, which I don’t respect. Additionally, I’ve heard some of these men admit that they’d rather have a virgin who doesn’t know what else she might be missing out on which reduces his competition anxiety. It’s all about ego investment. These are the types of men who are toxic and not good for any relationship.
A virgin woman is not inherently “better” than a non virgin woman. Any man who thinks she is is no man I’d ever want to associate with.
There is a difference between a woman who has sex with random people and the one who wants to have sex only with one man for her whole life.
