I have come to the idea that I will accept my gender roles?

So I used to be a huge feminist. I was very against gender roles. Basically that women should cook/clean. I finally came to an acknowledgement that I'm ok to completely take on cooking and cleaning to have a successful marriage.

Because you can't go into a serious relationship without sacrificing and putting your all into it. I want a marriage that'll last until I die, basically what the baby boomers have. I want to still love him and be in love.

But a relationship where we both need each other to survive. I know at one certain point in the relationship you choose to love the person. But I hope you know what kind of marriage I want.

You can't achieve that without working for it. So I finally came to the conclusion that I have to accept those gender roles and just do them. What are your thoughts about this?

Lol. Boomers stayed together because divorce was far more taboo, which is why the humor of the generation are couples who don't actually like each other.

Relationships should NOT require much sacrifice as that is unsustainable. Find someone that you WANT to do things for.
