Their isn't anything wrong with it.
God Bless
No I would never do that
Yes.
my ex-wife proposed to me
If the goal is equality, then why not?
Why not?
Because women are not able to handle that type of rejection it would be too much.
@Vegasrunner
Not more than for a man. We are all human.
Na were different. Women aren't used to being rejected, most successful men have been rejected every day for the majority of their lives. They become successful because they understand how to overcome it and keep pushing. Women are basically coddled in society so putting themselves out there is a lot harder. I truly believe that if you had women going around proposing to men, it would increase suicide rates for two reasons 1) Most women only look at relationships from their POV so they would be proposing, not understanding that most men aren't trying to get married. 2) The rejection would be to much. Could you imagine asking a guy to marry you he says no and now it's getting a million views on Social Media? There's just not many women that could handle that, if any.
@Vegasrunner
Alright, thanks for opinion, but if we are so different, the old theory about male and female brains would not have been debunked.
However, it was.
I'm sure if you search long enough you can find anything to support your beliefs, but there's a reason this question is being asked on this platform. Hell look at your reaction when someone doesn't agree w/ you on an opinion based question now imagine you getting rejected after putting your heart and soul into a gesture you wouldn't be able to handle it neither would most women in my opinion.
@Vegasrunner
I am perfectly calm actually. You are the one who came back after 36 hours, to push your opinion, atop mine.
Yes, getting rejected is very unpleasant experience, but whether you believe it or not, it happen to us girls too! Whether its marriage proposal, or just proposal between teens - wanna be a couple - or - would you like to dance with me.
And so on, and it happens, on a daily basis.
I don't understand, what do you want me to say?
I'm a busy man so I respond when I can find the time. I dont understand the "calm" part of your statement. Who said you weren't calm? That fact that you mention a few rare instances proves my point. A successful man is rejected on a daily basis. Women in general aren't as society is set up to protect them from harsh truths. A lot of women especially young women rarely get told no by men. So they just wouldn't be able to deal w/ putting themselves out there
I've had women freak out, vandalize property and hurt themselves all because I've either told them no or rejected them. The ones I talked w/ after have all said it was the first time a man has told them no.
@Vegasrunner
Since you dismissed my examples...
Your experiences are not the rule!
There simply examples that validate my point.
Yes... flip the script.
