My boyfriend of 5 years bought an engagement ring. I found it in our car back in March and I didn’t tell him. Just was surprised. Happy. Since then he didn’t do it on our anniversary in April after we went to dinner, we went on a trip for my birthday this month and even though I saw the box in his pocket at dinner - he didn’t do it. He then took me on a surprise staycation a couple weeks ago and again I saw the box at dinner but he didn’t do it. Then he took me out on a date and AGAIN saw the box but didn’t ask. Then this weekend he surprised me with a trip to Vegas and at dinner last night I saw the box in his pocket and after I surprised him with a gift it still didn’t happen.
Like why do you keep on planning all these surprise dates and bringing the ring but you’re not asking me….. I guess it’s frustrating cause I feel like he’s wasting my time and honestly our money doing all these trips and dates. He’s had the ring almost 5 months and I’ve seen him bring it on these dinners but he won’t ask.
