Congratulations on your engagement! Have you selected a date for the wedding?

I got engaged on March 10. We are getting married on April 27 next year.

Immediately after the engagement, I felt elated and at peace. I have occasionally had some twinges of wondering if I have made the right decision but I always decide that this is the right thing for me. I think having some doubts is a normal part of the process.

Like I get that maybe he’s mature or whatever, but in the grand scheme of things, he still is just a kid who might not be able to handle the stresses of adulthood at such a young age.

When I got engaged I was 18 and I couldn’t believe it. I was scared of the responsibility of becoming a wife and step mom in such young age but it was worth it. I don’t regret the decision that i’ve made and I would do it all over again if I could.❤️

In February of 2020, she left me in May though.

We were going through the process of getting her a K1 spousal visa, which is where the illegal immigrant came into play. She chose instead to be with him and enter the country illegally rather than doing it the legal way and being with me

First, it was arranged and then she had totally different views about life. She was all enjoy and enjoy while I have different outlook to life. Also, she was a heavy spender, like who needs 24 suits a year and each costing 150+ USD. I was happy to get her clothes and stuff but it was ridiculous and out of touch with reality. And then her religious views kept interfering and finally when she called me illiterate and uncivilized even though I bought her a gift and wanted to surprise her broke it off. I never tried to make her feel inferior despite her not finishing her university degree but she called me illiterate. And it went on for sometime. And everytime she threatened with breaking off the engagement. Finally it happened.
If you truly want to be with a man, try to do what he says in things that matter to him and your life will be the happiest he will make.
