It was many years ago, the start of a 20 year marriage that ended in amicable divorce. If I recall, it was about 9 months. Proposal in April, marriage in January. It took us that long to arrange for the church and reception. I would have married her the day after she said yes.

We first met when I was 15, and he was 16. Didn't actually start dating until I was 20, and he was 21. Dated for about 4 years, engaged for about 1.5 years or so, and now we've been married for 7.5 years.

We were both 23 when we met. We never really got engaged. After a few weeks we just knew how it was going to end up. We got married about 18 months after we met.
She was 18 and I was 24 when we met. Engaged about 9 months later. Married when I was 26. Been married for 23 years.
