Why does married status always bring out the desperates?

When I was single I never got this much attention and the guys never hit on me. Now when ever I put my status as married online they just jump for me!

It's not just guys but girls do this to with my hubby!

Probably because being in a relationship or married ups your value. Single people are going to see you as a person really worth having since you got someone to commit to you, post you online, be proud of you, they want that for themselves. Not caring who they hurt in the process and it’s sad honestly.

My coworker is like that always wanting married guys and relishing in ruining the marriage.

I had to cut my best friend off last year for being like that. Sabotaging relationships, backstabbing her friends, not caring who she hurts in the process of trying to get a man, I can’t support that morally or hear about it any longer. It’s sad really.

If you're married you're safe because you're already in a committed relationship and they hope it'll be a hook up

Others have already mentioned the hookup potential, but someone once told me that some people preferred dating married people "because the married people can't say anything"... meaning make no demands on the side piece like presents, being accountable, etc.

With them it might hurt cause I'd never let them have a relationship! Always following id screaming scaring her off... Saying how he has 3 kids with me and can't stand certain things we women need.

Absolutely. I wouldn't want to get involved in that sort of drama. But some people evidently have a different perspective and risk tolerance.

I've noticed this and i think its cause it shows that those people are marriage material and they try to sabotage cause they dont have the respect, happens when people get cuffed as well

It's because a lot of people are turned on by the whole home wrecker thing. It's all over music and stuff.

They're not desperate, they just got nothing to loose and want the feeling of taking something from someone else.
