If you marry someone within one year of your age is that the same age?

Suppose if I married someone exactly 12/13 months younger - is that the same age? I read somewhere that same age is considered your age +/- one year.

Most folks consider the same age to be within a year or two. Three years turns into "around the same age". When you're younger, there's a big enough difference in the maturity levels of someone your own age and someone 3 years younger or older. Once you hit the late 20's, that's not usually a factor.

Basically yeah. My husband is a few months younger than me so we are the same age sometimes depending on what month it is. Right now I'm 27 and he's 26

12 months younger means they are 1 year younger than you. 13 months younger means they are 1 year 1 month younger than you. If born in the same year as you they are turning the same age as you in the same year. On technicality unless you are born at the same time on the same day of the same year you are not exathe same age. The exception would be being born in different times zones for example one is is born 1230pm est and one is born 9am pt.

Some might thing so, but in California if someone turns 18 today and has sex with siomeone who turns 18 tomorrow, that person has committed illegal sex with a minor.
