I think I already thought of plan B and that'd be a romantic relationship that has as much commitment as a marriage. It'd be like kinky and follow that sort of stuff, but I think I'd be happy. Plus, it just means you don't need to spend a huge amounts of money. You don't need to be married to value love, share, and celebrate it (as well as be committed). Now, would I like to get married? The answer would be yes. But if I have that kind of relationship and I say "Hey, I'm happy in this relationship just as much as my married siblings are, I don't need to get married." then there we go, happiness right there.

My job helps cover fertility treatments etc for same sex couples. My best friend and I are going to get in a fake relationship and raise the kid together if neither of us find our person/start a family by 35

Just be really social, and develop lots of friendships with men that never want to get married that like helping people who need help. Then I don't have to worry about calling my female friends' husbands and my female friends getting jealous.
