I see they have the Philippines as women carrying their lastown name into marriage. But they actually do take their husband's last name, and their maiden name becomes their middle name. At least in the part my mom comes from
My partner is from South America, its not culturally the norm for them to take husbands name. In fact whole way surnames work is different. We've agreed when we marry we'll all take a double barrelled family name (me, her and the kids)
I don't think so, do they?
