Broke my leg in 2 places a few days ago (tibia and fibula). Thankfully no surgery but will be stuck in a full leg cast (toes to upper thigh) for perhaps 6 - 8 weeks. Our wedding is in about 2 weeks. I go to the orthopedist soon and will likely get my more permanent hard fiberglass cast. What color do you think I should get? White to match my dress or maybe blue for the "something blue" tradition? Or perhaps something else?

Well for a traditional wedding of course you want white to show your purity…. But if you want to show your wild side go with a bright color red, or maybe safety orange.
I think orange would be my vote.
Let the new husband know that there is danger when he reaches the top of that safety orange cast!

That must be a real bitch to go to the bathroom. Usually you have to stay in the hospital as there are a lot of things you can't do for yourself with a full leg cast.
It ABSOLUTELY is!! Lol. But I'm managing despite it being so difficult. I did spend the night and most of the next day in the hospital right after my injuryhappened, but then they thankfully released me to go home. I'm glad they did cause I hate staying there. I couldn't get any rest/sleep with everything going on. Good news is I have my fiancé there to help me and when he goes to work, my mom comes to take over. I hate being such a burden on them but there's nothing I can do about it right now. We just take it slow and don't try to do too much, especially since my leg is still pretty sore and painful at times.
Do casts come in other colors besides white? Maybe color it a different color.
Sure. The fiberglass they use now coms in many different colors
What color did you get?
I'm going to the orthopedist tomorrow so still taking suggestions. What's your vote?
