Often she's providing also working for pay. If she's not, then she's providing home maintenance and child care. I have no patience with men who marry, go to work while their wife takes care of their home and children so they can hold that job, then complain about sharing the marital assets in a divorce. Whatever they earned during the marriage is half his, half hers.
