Do working a way from home or abroad generally kill the marriage?

I work as an Engineer my work requires that I leave my home for 15 days a month when I return I feel somehow that I am a stranger and my wife as a stranger may be for a day or two before getting again together, is this really because of this period

It depends on the person, people are different. My husband often leaves the country for work, to go back his country. But as long as we have good life, that’s the most important thing for us.
