Cheap dates?

okay, so my boyfriend and I have been dating for 1 year and 10months and we go out every now and then but lately we have both been...well broke lol.

so what kind of dates do you know of that we could go on that are either really cheap..but still fun and romantic..or that are free and we will still enjoy ourselves. I'm at a loss and so is he.

I second picnics or going out and watching the stars.

Also, depending on where you live, you could go on a hike or for a day at the beach. Some cities have a lot of free events going on, like fairs, festivals, free outdoor concerts or films. Sometimes art galleries or museums have a cheap or free day or evening. Date nights at home can be good too, such as cooking dinner together, or having a movie night or board game night.

If we're low on cash and want to go on a more "traditional" date, my partner and I often ask for movie or restaurant gift certificates from our parents for birthdays or christmas.

Thanks for the advice. we live in florida. so we are right near the beach except my boyfriend doesn't like sand..go figure. and we both still live at home so we never really get to be alone in the house, but we have tried to think of ways to get them out lol.

We've done the star thing before. I don't know how into picnics my boyfriend would be lol..he hates bugs.
