Laying out in the sun?

A lot of girls say guys who go to tanning booths are queer... What about guys who lay out in the sun? Is that acceptable?

I've never been in a tanning booth, not cause I think it's gay.. but because it's unhealthy and turns you orange rather than tan. I have laid out in the sun a couple times though. just because I don't seem to get tan even though I run an hour during peak times with my shirt off..

So laying out in the sun... Feminine thing to do? Or acceptable for men also?

There's nothing wrong with laying out in the sun from my point of view. Maybe it's a cultural issue but were I come from everybody does it, men, women, children, young people, old people, everybody who enjoys a nice sun bath. Nothing gay about it.

Take Brazil as an example, nearly everybody is tanned there and they still sun bath because it feels good to just lay there in the beach and feels the warmth of the sun.

Well if your worried about looking like a girl you could go for a shirtless jog, you get the same effect of being in the sun and plus your working out (nothings more manly than working out, haha)

I do, do that. 30-60 minutes a day, most of the times during the afternoon. Doesn't seem to be cutting it cause I'm not tan. I'm not pale, because of it.. but it hasn't made me tan.

Umm. well works for me but then again I run for an hour plus (also I've got Native American and Italian in me, so that probably helps, I guess it cancels out the German and French whiteness)

theres nothing wrong with guys laying out in the sun. its not a feminine thing to do, everyone does it, I have guy friends that like to layout in the sun with me and their 100% straight, so your fine lol

Saying it from a guy's perspective, as long as your not completely obsessed with it, I don't see a problem. Just don't do the the guido look along with it, that is pretty gay.
