Walmart over target but I'll go there every once and again... I like aldis, good prices great stuff fresh produce and great quality meats... that being said I'll also go to save a lot and United grocery outlet , both places you come out ahead while stocking up on groceries ( spent $160 both places and an overflowing cart ) fresh good quality meat and low prices
I choose Target as being better. Unequivocally. Walmart went on an expansion campaign years ago that wiped out many local and regional stores, to the dismay of the owners of those stores, as well as to the dismay of the people who patronized them. I would prefer that those pre-existing stores had survived. Target has coexisted in the market for many years, without forcing out their competition.. Walmart, whether or not they had neutral ambitions, or had the actual intention of the extinction of their competitors, they did prove to be the extinction factor to many small and medium-sized vendors, all of which had their own special attraction to the buying public. Those special attractions have not been replaced by Walmart's existence. They're gone , like the wind. Who do I refuse to patronize? Walmart. Who do I still patronize on occasion? Target. Walmart will fall, as all posers will, eventually.

Well depends on how much you value a dollar and yourself, difference target is much cleaner and organized Walmart were to be fair depends on the area is in, I week to one Walmart last week and had to fumigate my self and car of fleas that was not pleasant plus the assistance you get if much better at target now I don't know who is their clothes buyer but man do they need to learn fashion I mean I jeans you can't screw that up but shirts shoes don't even think of buying this at either store but you want cheap Chinese goods and you get what you pay for Walmart is your store we'll not lately china isn't sending much stuff yet, but target their Chinese products are a bit better and you feel better doing say target where as early world you walk out of there wanting, a shower quickly, wear hazmat suit next time
Walmart is cheaper, but so many of their shelves are just empty, and their employees don't help you find anything, if you can even talk to them, as so many barely speak English!! Target has a lot of cute young women, and they ALWAYS have a huge smile, when you ask them were something is, and often take you there, and they seem to be college kids, and speak English well, and always ask if they can help me find something else, after finding what I want! For me, it is the CUSTOMER SERVICE, and I RARELY go to Walmart, because I know that none of their employees care, or want to help!! I'm much more willing to pay a few cents more for a nice young lady, that seems to want to help me find what I need!!
I do prefer Walmart cause I get a lot of stuff at reasonable prices/ cost take a look at Walmart and compare them to Giant Eagle and the prices at Giant Eagle is ridiculous.. Our local Rite-Aid Pharmacy and Store just down over the hill is so expensive, the only way they make money is for people who are dumb enough to use their Pharmacy and if you take medications there to be filled, they will tell you to either wait or come back in 2 hours cause they are always busy and if you want medications delivered the last time I heard they charge for delivery now tell me that is money makers for sure
Walmart has a wider variety of goods. They have a lot of things that Target does not have. For example Walmart has a garden shop, sells mattresses, has a hardware department. It's the only store I've gone to where I can buy work clothes, a TV, kayak, car battery, circular saw, mulch, a can of custom mixed paint, a fishing license and a steak.
Well, when Target came to Canada they decided that they were not going to bring their A-game and thought that Canadians would just a lap it up because Target is apparently amazing thing in America. I mean we didn't get you know the Alexander McQueen for Target stuff. So Walmart is pretty crappy also and just like everybody in Walmart looks so downtrodden and it's just with the most depressing place.
Walmart is dirty, they have no business selling food. They leave refrigerated goods sit in unrefrigerated trucks , and have a supply chain meant for clothing and toys, not milk and eggs.
Walmart carries cheaply made junk produced in Walmarts Chinese sweatshops, many of their items aren't the same , being made cheaper for Walmart not the same quality even for name brands.
One thing that sticks out about Target is anytime I buy their house brands, it's quality. All the way down to the gummy worms. Second, SuperTarget is closer to my house, and recently remodeled to the current store design which is more upscale. Target Circle is great too.
Quality about the same, target spends way more on advertising and using big named people. They both treat handicap people with respect and hire them. I like Walmart. it is about the customer and not having some ones name on something so you can raise the price on it. you can buy the same stuff there as most big stores and pay less. Downside you have to say you bought it at Walmart. can your ego handle that.
We have neither in germany, walmart tried to open some stores but they failed miserably and are now either closed or bought up by the existing grocery chains.
target's more "upscale" walmart is for bums bus rider bums and ghetto trash. look at the location of each store and see for yourself. my state walmarts are located in all ghetto shithole slum areas and targets aren't. even though both companies suck to work for target is worse to work for than walmart
Walmart is better, but has worse people who shop there. Target is pretty mediocre and overpriced, all around. So the only reason to go to Target is if you don't want to deal with (as much) human trash also shopping there.
