Gift ideas for meeting your boyfriend's parents?

So my boyfriend and I are doing ldr. I will be meeting his parents in a few months time. He lives in a completely different country, so I was thinking of buying them like an ornament from here (or something along the lines of that). However, are there any specific ideas of what I can get for them? Also, how do I not make it awkward when giving them the present? Your ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That is a great idea! I just don't think I can bring it from overseas. I would also need to double check with my boyfriend if his parents are into that. Is there something similar that I could potentially resort to?

It’s not a problem when you get to America you do it and if you can’t do it because you’re meeting the parents in one hour after you land they have your boyfriend do it and then pay him back but the gifts from you because it was your idea
