+1 yA new car. Used cars are so much better because you can find out what has been recalled and what kind of bugs and kinks they have.
And expensive restaurants, yuck! I ate at one a couple of years ago and it doesn't even come close to a cheeseburger, fries, and a nice cold Pepsi. I do not know why people spend $50 for a plate of food that looks like something that came from the bottom of a pond.
I swear, if I ever decide to publish any of my books and become rich, I'm sticking to Taco Bell and Applebee's! (Yeah, I can never give up good surf N turf!)
Though, most art is a waste of money, I wouldn't mind having a painting of "Nighthawks" from Edward Hopper. I always wonder what the people in the diner are thinking!

+1 yI would not buy very expensive food unless it contained special nutrition or it was a birthday or wedding or valentines day. I would not eat too much lobster cause it contains a mild taste. I also would not buy designer things unless it was unusually high quality, so no Hermes bags. I would drink grape juice instead of ice wine. And I would not buy a sports car cause an SUV is safer for avoiding violent accidents.

+1 yThere would be a couple things. Not a big fan of the big retail stores, like Gucci and Prada. Yes they have some nice things, but I can make them cheaper at home. Iâd also say a mansion. I mean Iâd like a nice house, but Iâd prefer it to be outside of a town in the country with a couple acres. Nothing too fancy though. I do like classic cars and Shelby GTs so I will have those.

I'd love an old house in the country. I work in multi million dollar homes and they just seem so cold

+1 yRich is a relative term. It has less to do with ones quantity of money and spending power and more to do with ones perspective towards life.
A truly "rich" person is approachable, well learned, educated on many subjects and overall just a well rounded badass such that people want to be around him. He wears whatever he wants and feels comfortable in, because he is not out to impress anybody.

I wouldn't buy a Lambo, or a house in LA - +1 y
There was a local guy around here that won a few million dollars in the lottery. A few months later he died of a heart attack. His wife said that a lot of charities kept calling him asking for money. They were pretty relentless I guess and stressed this poor guy out so much that he died.
- +1 y
Yeah, I've heard about that happening a lot.
If I did give to charity, it would be one of my choice. Not whoever tried to guilt me into giving them money - +1 y

Anonymous(18-24)+1 yI have a lot of money and I have a house and a car and clothes I like and if I want something nice sometime I buy it. But I go to parties where there are absolutely ridiculous people who buy every expensive thing they see with no intelligence or imagination. That money could be put to much better use helping other people.

I am already living a good life. I am naturally attracted to lavish lifestyle. But I can't afford to buy all those things right now. I have bought only necessary items. When I become a billionaire, I will not limit myself. It's my dream to be a successfull and wealthy man. I will buy everything: Villas, apartments, supercars, resorts, farmlands, industries, IT companies, restaurants, 5 / 7 star hotels, yachts, islands, gold, silver, platinum, diamond, gems, jewelleries, etc.

- +1 y
@Exterminatore ooo did I hit a nerve?
- +1 y
No, I was using satire to agree with you. Itâs only funny because itâs true.
Thatâs one major place I have disagreement with the Republicans is their promotion of business laws that are unfair and do not benefit the overwhelming majority of Americans, but rather benefit the wealthy industrialist, banker, and stock market. They want laws passed they just play golf with a president or congress man. If we want them passed we have to shout at our representatives only to be wholly ignored.
Iâm am very critical of the tax breaks and large variety of other favors big business is granted while the rip the rest of us offâŠ. then complain about things like hiring disabled people and OSHA and FMLA and how they hamper business, while they pay far less than their fair share of taxes and run off with the profits. - +1 y

- +1 y
@sparkie460. Yes, I took a Jeep Gladiator out for a test drive. It was fun to drive and I thought it would be fun to take the top off. It had a 6 cylinder and a small pickup bed. It was 2019 when they first came out and the dealer would not budge much on the 60000 price tag for the one I drove. I went and drove a F-150 and it seemed like twice the vehicle with a V8 and full size pickup bed. It rides better on the highway and cost almost 20K less.
- +1 y
@exitseven jeeps are more expensive to buy and very expensive when they break down frequently. That's why jeep stands for " Just Empty Every Pocket ".
