There's a nearly complete Stegosaurus fossil going up for sale. You can read about it here...
‘Virtually complete’ Stegosaurus fossil goes on sale - but not everyone is happy
If you had the money ($6 million estimate), would you consider buying it?

mainly i dont trust they assembled it accurately nor even the same animal nor even the aame species! i suspect
mixing different animals to the shape they guessed... that is neither science nor history.
even if they actually checked the dna and it was one species or found 90% whole... it is a waste of space. video it and bury the disassembled bones in a small coffin!
If I was rich enough I would consider it. While we’re on the topic of dinosaurs, I have a Lego Quetzalcoatlus. Should I rebuild it into a different creature? I was thinking about turning it into stegosaurus or kentrosaurus.

I mainly want to change it because it’s too big. Almost the same size as the Sonorasaurus I made.
I tend to agree it's better off in a museum. Sadly the most of the rocks here predate the dinosaurs so my chance of finding one and becoming a millionaire are pretty slim.
A lot of dinosaurs fossils in museums are replicas so why can't moulds be taken of this one?
Best bet is to check Lyme Regis or the Isle of Wight, I guess. Both sites have been strip-mined of fossils to the extreme... but there are still plenty of Ammonites in the former and fossil footprints in the latter. But you never know. I mean if people found plesiosaurs or iguanodons respectively in the past, there are probably still others there somewhere...
Yeah, Dorset and the South Coast of England chucks the odd one up.
The thought of buying that has never ever crossed my mind. Maybe buying a museum with dinosaur fossils in it would be a bit more cool

My mother-in-law came free with the boyfriend... So no need.
I don't think he would fit in my little (but nice🙂) studio apartment, otherwise sure I would buy him.
I would not, but at one time, there was an acute care clinic here in Jacksonville that had a huge combination waiting room/dinosaur skeleton display.
No, I would not be interested in that at all.
While they are pretty cool, I would not like to own one.
Nah, even if I had that kind of money where would I put it? The living room? 😂
I can put it in the backyard with maybe some guard rails, swing, maybe a slide that goes into a pool. Generally next to the pool with a ladder and we can cannonball off it.
No, 'cuz I know places where I can find them for free
No, not at all. It's not particularly attractive so it isn't a great conversation piece. And what's it good for?
If I was wiping my ass with $100 bills and had a giant room to display it in, why not?
No, I like dinosaurs, but I wouldn't buy a fossil.
I would really like a massive megaladon tooth!
I'll take a pass on that.
No thanks, I'm rather have a Ferrari.
I once had a Cambrian trilobite, so I guess that answers this question :)
no. I have enough old junk in my house
I'd rather make one...
If it was affordable. Like $200 or less.
I have. And I’d do it again.
NO. BELONGS IN A MUSEUM.
Nope! What would be the point in doing that
Not really...
Wait. Isn't that Tom Brady in the shower?
yes i would
No...
