I use my phone.
5 moAs for a paper list I still use it & I have enough scrap paper so I put it to good use. On the flip side when I go shopping I usually know what I want & most of the time the list is in my head. Put an HDTV on your shopping list & make sure it’s 1080p.

I guarantee he doesn’t drive however he drives people nuts with the same questions. I think he rides his scooter or has a lifetime short bus pass.

I'd use my phone if I did all grocery shopping at once which I never do, I make a few quick trips a week when I have to drive past Kroger to get home, and it's late at that point.
So no lines, I'm rarely still in the store for more than 10 minutes. I know exactly where everything is, where to look for just about any item I've ever needed so far. But I am going to be getting more into cooking so maybe that will lead to me caving and doing shopping at once.
But until then, I roll like the breeze, I go in, get what I need and go. I've already decided what I want, the morning before I go to the store. So I'm never standing there, wondering what to pick, I already decided, I'm grabbing and going10 Reply
I am faster with writing than to open the list on my phone, type...
I practice writing which is still important.
Last: I am independent from my phone, energy (battery). Sometimes I don't have my phone with me. I always have pen and paper with me to make short notices. Bag, car, jacket, ... maybe I meet the cutest man and don't have a pen and paper to write down his number, my Akku is empty and I am such happy I forgot my number.

5 moI use my phone now but I have a routine of what to shop for and pre set meal plans so it's not as difficult for me to remember what to get. I only use it when it's something random so I don't forget.

Have you ever had a typo on your list?
One time I am going down the list and I see (just for ex)
Chicken
Steak
Oranges
Apples
Tomatoes
Horny
Romaine
Brussel sprouts
Lol. Friggin phones. It was supposed to be honey. I laughed so hard I scared a person in the aisle I was in.

I usually still prefer a paper list - with the phone acting as a 📱 🤳 useful tool for taking photos for SMS text or if something's out of stock 'sad face, now what" - lol
I still use paper while it's around - the same way I use the phone - they're all tools.11 Reply
Opinion Owner5 mo@abbycado and I'll use both tools equally until one or the other drops eventually ☔💧 like all supercedes
5 moI keep a small whiteboard on my refrigerator where I keep a running list of things I need at the store. I take a picture of it before I go to the store and use that.

5 moI use both. Sometimes I will use my phone and other times I will use a paper list. It varies for me but I probably use my phone more often than I use a paper list.

But I do use hand written notes sometimes... just to protest my hand phone... to put it into a place where it belongs to.31 Reply- 5 mo
This made me laugh out loud. Thank you.
5 moI go with a sticky note. When i write things down i remember things easier. Plus its quicker than taking out my phone using the passcode then going into my notes and scrolling

5 moI use both. I write my paper list for me, but to get the coupons, I have to enter them in my phone. Give me the old days where you just rip off the coupons at the bottom of the flyer and turn them in.

11 ReplyI've only used paper lists. My wife used to write up the shopping list but now I have to make it myself. It's really hard to go food shopping because she will like something one week then say she doesn't want it the next week after I already cooked it
00 ReplyPaper. Old fashioned maybe, but you can also cross out items already in your cart if the list is really long. I just think it's more practical.
10 ReplyI confess to sometimes putting a post-it on my phone with the shopping list, esp in the cold weather when the phone battery dies too quickly.
