Not only is this impossible, but it's not required. You can say "humans are born with legs." Are ALL humans born with legs? No, but enough are to where you can safely say humans are born with legs
This same thing goes for anything. You don't have to have 100% unanimous to have an opinion. If enough feminists are man-hating superiority advocates, that stains the whole movement. If you're part of that movement and you defend that movement, BY PROXY you're defending the extremists, especially if you won't address them, which so many moderates don't do.
No one's judging you simply because you're a feminist. You're getting judged because of this take (more specifically the last point).

It's not a thing of being ashamed or not. Of course you shouldn't be ashamed, but do you need a label to define your views and opinions? Because when you put a label on yourself, that's what you become: a label for something, instead of you. If the label changes its meaning, so will you, because people won't remember your beliefs, they will only remember your label.
You are not letting anyone win. It is not a competition, it is life, and it is always changing: people change it... mostly anonymously... through generations.
By the way, if you haven't noticed, the definition has already changed... whether you like it or not, the perception of society has changed towards that label.

Ok if you know extremists change the delineation and are not real feminists then don't think their definitions is the real definition. It's also not the society responsibility to take action into it, (since society already ignores them). If it puts to shame the beliefs of the group they label themselves with, then it has to be the group to take action against them. (remember, society already ignores them, and as a consequence, ignores the group)
That's the problem with belonging to a group. Other group member's actions define the group you belong to, and ultimately, will define yourself, because it is not about what you are, it is about what others perceive of you: you can have the best intentions to do something, but then you show it wrong to others, and their perception of you is ruined. That's what happens with extremists of a group. You can have the best intentions, and actually show it right, but the label with stick around.
I'm not saying you should stop being a feminist, but you should think about what makes you different than the rest of people that don't belong to that group. If you find yourself in a place, where your values are already the same as everyone else, then you should rethink why you're in the group after all. Food for thought.

I cannot provide you with evidence of course. Some of those changes happen as a whole in society, it is very hard and close to impossible to defined the root causes of major changes that happen along time. To be precise, everything around us contributes to those changes without exception.
I can't say that feminism has changed society for the worse, or that it has impacted USA in a negative way. It certainly had a contribution to some changes that happened mentally in the society, some for better, some for worse, as stated in other myTakes (that I don't remember now).
About ruining the modern man, it certainly had its impact. A lot of things changed (like always), and feminism had its part in it, alongside economic needs and demands from the modern families. I can't give you an example of one family that was ruined by feminism, but I'm sure you know it has had its impact on families (mostly an indirect impact, not necessarily better or worse, mostly tradeoffs).
Personally I don't blame feminism I blame the economy because women and men now have to work way more just support their children. Prices and cost of living is going up plus education prices and this and that. Its not wonder families get stress about money and might end up in divorce or end up struggling for the rest of their lives unhappy blaming each other when really its the economy

Yes, the economy, has demanded the need for working families, and feminism promoted the work for women, and improved the conditions of existing ones. That went alongside with the economy shift, so it had a partial influence (a good one). Of course from then on, the traditional family support changed as well, and children grew up differently. Those changes have happened countless times through history, sometimes in circles due to wars.
And the woman also working, enabled more income to the household, which is always good to have some room to breathe in the life of a couple
About the divorce, I wasn't even going on that direction. Disagreements, cheating and separations have always happened before. Often between "famous" people, and it was just a matter of time until everyone got used to it. Paired to it was the violence, which is where I think feminism had a more important role in exposing that stuff, which has been frowned upon from a few centuries back, but sometimes hard to
confirm what happened behind closed doors.

Well people bring up divorce and blame feminism for letting the woman getting way more in the divorce settlements even thou courts are always one sided. NOW (National Organization of Women) actively campaigned for women to get full custody of children regardless of how able the father was, and in fact where succcessfull. Feminism pushed for women to get the right to choose mother hood and also pushed for the right for women to choose father hood for the man. A woman can abort a child abandon a child (thanks to safe haven laws) and even give a child up for adoption all without the fathers consent or knowledge all of which was fought for by feminist. Feminist also fought for men having to pay child support, while it was wrong to force parenthood on a woman it apparently according to feminist was not wrong to do so to a man. @hellionthesage there are some lines where a woman can't keep her kids like in Canada if you going to trial for a serious crime (murder whatever) you have your kids taken away. Since a little boy died because of that. Some women lose their kids due to drug addictions or the man just makes more money then her. So no not all women keeps their kids. But regardless some laws are one sided and that is a issue that needs to be changed.
