In a way suicide is already legal. I mean, if you succeed there is nothing and no law that can disagree with your actions after the fact, and even if you don't, you're going to mental health care or to a hospital or both afterwards for clear mental distress. One cannot convict you for illegal crimes for trying to kill yourself.
