Well,hello everyone.

It's me again.

So like all of you I live in 2018 a.k.a The Year Of Stupidness as I like to call it.

And if you live on planet earth, you should have known by now that sexual harassment is like the super hot topic of the decade.

We have a new sexual harassment scandal every single hour of the day.

And don't get me wrong, I believe that some of these cases do need to go in the light of justice.

After all sexual harassment is something serious cause it is a way of psychological blackmailing that leads to psychological damage.

And of course, if you haven't realize it already I'm strongly against it.

But,

Like every other thing in this world that actually has some importance and actually has kind of impact (if that's a good word to call it) to the public, they start to over-use it so much that they make it loose not only it's importance but also it's original reasoning of existence.

Basically sexual harassment starts to becoming an everyday thing, an everyday threat towards both females and males (but mostly males) that are being just friendly or even flirty (and being flirty it's not a crime for god's sake) towards others.

People, especially girls, use it for the tinest things, so much that they are actually changing the whole idea of it.

For example, if a male co-worker is being FRIENDLY and actually talks to a a female and the female doesn't physically like the guy, she can actually blame him for sexual harassment and maybe even win the case.

And that in my opinion is just terrible.

By Exact Definition :

Sexual harassment is defined as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.

My advice to all of you would be to actually start using the threat or even the blame for sexual haassment for REAL VALID REASONS.

Because if you don't then simply you'll only gain 2 things.

1) Basically every human being becamone unnaproachable, because she/he can blame anyone for sexual harassment.

And.

2) At some point sexual harassment will just become a total joke and something so serious won't be taken seriously by anyone.

Here are the rules I want to see:
1. Saying hello or attempting to have a conversation with someone in a non-sexual way is not sexual harassment. How was your day? What are you doing this weekend? Those are not harassment. The person is free to answer that she doesn’t want to speak to you.
2. If something offensive is said, the offender should get a “warning”. A simple “that is inappropriate” or “that is offensive to me” should be sufficient to stop the offender’s behavior. If we do not have this protocol, then no guy will ever ask a girl out of compliment them ever again.
3. Touching without permission is always off limits. Mainly because some strict interpretations of certain religions forbid a woman being touched in any way by a male non-family member without permission. Again, if it happens, and I’m not talking groping here, I’m talking elbow touch, or a hand on a shoulder type of thing. Again a warning that the behavior isn’t appropriate. When interviewing candidates, I had a woman candidate refuse to shake my hand. I accepted her explanation and moved on.
4. No means no. Once a woman communicates that she doesn’t want to go further that should be respected. Apparently, I am a sex offender because I took a girl’s blouse off and she told me no, and I stopped and let her dress and took her home. Is this not what happened in the Ford/Kavanaugh case? If the women consented prior to the limit, then that prior behavior is not considered sexual assault. If it is, none of my boys will ever be married for sure. No happens when it is communicated, not retroactively to the start of a relationship.

I agree, I am starting to get paranoid to be honest out in public. This really makes dating nerve racking, what does she want, if it is something she does not want will say she is being harassed. Is stealing a kiss or taking a risk by a kiss harassment? Does asking her to dance and trying to place the hands harassment? Is simply talking to a girl Harassment if she does not want it? Should there be some sort of protection for guys because I feel like we are heading in that direction. I am not talking unfair or unsafe protection but something that allows a guy a reasonable or agreed upon touching, distance or speech. Like for example as a starting point, handshaking should not be harassment, a hug could be in that same category but with limitations, starting there and working from there. Yeah it is a hot topic, it should be respected but I think it is something that needs to be looked at and redefined. At this point, sexual harassment is like a walking time bomb for guys. The concept proposed was "divide and conquer" and it has been used since. Sadly, things like #blacklivesmatter and #metoo have caused significant division among genders, races, and political party. Division in American men and women has caused birth rates to decline. We are not sustaining our native population anymore. Simultaneously, a faction is constantly trying to remove mention of "God" and preach socialism. This same faction also encourages protesting the National Anthem before football games (which is a simple example of a faction subverting American tradition).

Nice take! I hope everyone reads it to the end. I don't think very many women would call "sexual harrassment" for non valid reasons for one it can work against her. She risks being labeled "that girl" that no one wants to work with because you have to totally watch what you say around her. and that in itself could negatively impact her career.
This is a topic that interests me for my own job. I work with and attractive woman Who is personable to every guy in the place. Not surprisingly a lot of guys pay her mind ( not going to lie i asked her out). Anyways there's a guy we work with that hits on basically every woman. So of course he does that with her as well. I should add This woman and I have had talks at length about her being able to find a guy who fits her needs. And she has shared her insecurities with me as well. Anyways this guy we works with gives her hugs that were not asked for she smiles when he does an talks to him a bit. but always says in his absence how creepy he is and doesn't know boundries etc. I always tell her punch him in the balls if he comes in for a hug and you don't want it. She tells me i'm afraid of what he'll do. I say he won't do anything i guarantee you. And if he tried i would stop him. But she doesn't take my advice she just continues to let him. I've seen other guys stare at her ass and another guy made the remark that it was a complement. she smiled. and i said staring at someone ass isn't a compliment. i guess i bring this up because i almost feels she enjoys the attention. but she says what she says about it.

Can you cite any specific instances or is this just your general impression?

Because what sociologists, organizational psychologists, and criminologists say is that most cases of sexual harassment go unreported, largely out of fear of losing a job or being retaliated against, and that false accusations still remain rare. I certainly do not condone false allegations in any way, shape, or form, and any is too many.

But we are living in a post-recession time where employers hold most of the cards, and many people, men and women, are afraid to rock the boat at work because finding another job is so difficult. This has actually had a chilling effect.

Sexual harassment is quite difficult to prove in court. More than just the complainant has to feel the conduct was sexual in nature, unwanted, and really did happen. There is rarely any documentation of what happened like e-mails. It's almost always one person's word over another's. Most cases reported to Police never reach the courts, and most cases reported within a company never reach Police.

Why do you assume such a high percentage of accusations are false? There is usually considerable negativity thrown back on people who do report, and with all crimes of this nature, underreporting is MUCH more common than false reporting.

The issue is in order to really connect with a woman, you kinda have to sexually harass her a bit. Not so much, but you *do* have to touch her and gauge her reaction to that touch in order to properly flirt with her. If she recoils, obviously you've done something she isn't comfortable with, and you need to back off for awhile. But, in order to develop that flirtatious spirit between you two, you have to try and touch her again. In more comfortable places, then work up to more intimate places. Arm, shoulder, lower back, hands, ears [trust me, it's not as weird as it sounds], etc.

But, all this terror surrounding sexual harassment is an opportunity for guys who have the balls to go for what they want. This is the greatest time for [ethical, moral] pick up, because the competition is scared shitless and a lot of women are walking around wondering, "No guys are hitting on me. Am I ugly?" No, guys are just terrified of lawsuits.

Either way, it's very important to be able to read and understand female body language and comfort levels. I think that is a big issue with this whole thing, because males do not naturally have the same level of body language understanding as women do. We're just kinda dumb like that and have to learn about those subtle ques.

But since 9 times out of 10, she won't actively *say* she doesn't want him to do whatever he is doing, the guy takes this to mean that it's okay to do, then two lawsuits later, realizes, "Ahh, she was not comfortable." Of course, there are the guys who don't care. But I think most guys just don't understand that the woman is uncomfortable.

The important part is to gauge whether or not she is comfortable with it. If she is, then I can move up the arm next time. Again, gauge her comfort level, then move to another more intimate area. I don't need to get a notary to touch a chick's arm.

It's weird asking for permission. It ruins everything and makes it awkward. I seriously don't need some form of "yes" to touch a chick's arm. Trust me. I'm good at getting laid. I have a lot of experience with women. I know how these things work.

The only consent I need is her body language saying she might not mind being touched. If I make her laugh, intrigued, or otherwise interested in me, then I'm going to touch her. It's just going to happen. And she's most likely going to like it or be okay with it. And if she doesn't like it or isn't okay with it, which I pick up on in her facial expression or body language, I remove my hand--she will survive the mild discomfort. Touching is an extremely important thing for humans. It's an instinctual thing. It's natural to touch someone's arm when you're joking and having fun. And I don't think asking permission is the right manner.

When an unattractive person is being nice to someone? I really don’t think most girls call that sexual harassment... maybe they’d call that person “a creep”, but never sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is more invasive than that, and most people know that... I think it’s more common than you think, but it’s hard to prove and people can easily get away with it, especially when there are a lot of beliefs and attitudes that brush off these accusations like they don’t mean anything. In a lot of accusations, it actually happened but people are denying it? How come the same attitude doesn’t exist when someone claims that someone else stole money from them? Hey guess what its only been 40years since men and women were allowed to work 5 days a week 8hrs a day together in close proximity. 78.2% of earths population is heterosexual meaning if you put a bunch of people who are attracted to the opposite sex together there will be sexual tension. I see both sides of the argument.

1. Sexual harassment whether it's rape, groping, catcalling is 100% unacceptable and should never be tolerated.

2. People who make false allegations make it harder for actual rape victims as people don't know who to believe for when more rape allegations come forward in the future. I see it as no different as people who fake having cancer for sympathy, money, etc.

All sexual predators of any kind 100% deserve to be punished. I just think it should be handled differently, where rapists don't get published UNTIL they're convicted. Once you have an allegation, your life is ruined, even if you're proven innocent which is wrong.

I got booted form the International Socialist Organization for complimenting a woman's smile and for saying I might have had to catch a woman in the group when she nearly fell off a bar stool. I wasn't even trying to be more than friends with these women.

Once a woman and I were both fired when she said that back in the sixties she was approached to play a cameo as a Red Cross nurse in an adult film. They said that the conversation was inappropriate and offended unidentified people.

A female professor in grad school treated me like dirt and got me kicked off the campus during my film project by accidentally on purpose not clearing my shoot with security. She said some unidentified women were bothered because I had asked them out.

In none of these cases was there anything lewd, crude, or sexual about anything on my end.

But the fear, the false premise that most men are committing harassment and need to cool down their masculinity is too much. It is something sensitive, and I know that rape is a big part of this issue, many girls get raped and go nothing, or they don't get just in court because of this.
The thing is, people take things too far it becomes lame and others will just see it as normal, when a judge do nothing in a rape case it is because they will blame the girl or disbelieve her.
Sadly, this happens a lot and it always makes me sad 💔💔

Simply put, North American society doesn't have the fundamental common sense and maturity to deal with this issue.

Girls have trouble dealing with sexual advances. Women don't. A mature woman can handle it.

The problem is there are a lot of men... A LOT... who are legitimate psychopaths and do not care about a woman's feelings, concerns, etc. They're not that hard to spot, but people keep accepting these people into their lives. What do you do with people like this? What's the solution?

To be clear, this applies not just to sexual harassment but also to "rape" charges (and what is considered as "rape"), allegations of sexism and pretty much everything else being pushed by the modern feminist movement. Feminism today is a wolf in sheep's clothing that is doing so much harm to men AND women, and society as a whole. We all need to open our eyes to that and DO SOMETHING about it. I like your take and agree with it full heartedly. Though when it comes to your two points at the end.

1) a lot of people are already unapproachable. Headphone, usually on their phones as stuff. Though overall if sexual harassment claims over the tiniest things keeps going on then men will eventually just leave women alone and still converse and approach other men.

2) SJW's already made most sexual harassment claims a joke. If a guy asks a woman out and she says no, or if he makes a somewhat sexual comment/ comment with sexual undertone and she tells him to stop/ she doesn't like that and he carries on (in either case) then she is being harassed. If he apologizes and stop then things should be left there. Same thing with a man towards a woman.

Perfect post.. In my job, we take ethics courses annually about a lot of things, sexual harassment is one. The way its defines is as you states, but its is explained as, the "victim" defines if its harassment first. So if I have a conversation and if ANYTHING i say that can be misconstrued as harassment, the company will treat as such, regardless of the reality is. Until an HR investigation is completed, I can be suspended, or moved to another location.

It depends a lot on as women. I know one guy that is really sexually unpleasant with women. And when he tried his move on me I told him straight away it's unecceptable behaviour to me. He never done it again and even said that he tried "joking" with me but I was't for it. So if he continued to do what I told him not to, then it would be sexual harassment and not before. Every woman is different and he tries to see how is she going to react. It's normal sexual behaviour, but when I tell you where the bounaries are and you doesn't respect them then we can talk about harassment.
