We sit upon a glowing rock twirling in orbit around a glissful, radiating explosion of nuclear fire just so far away from it that we get to enjoy the feintist sensations of warming breezes. Down on this rock the throbbing of our blood pummels into the earth from our feet. Winds circulate the globe bringing fluctating temperatures and bringing soft tingling caress to terrifying gales of screaming storms. The waters fill our skies, they sit with us everywhere we go, like a goddess nurturing us from above a cradle. Perspiring through sweat, our skin peeling off in flakes as we persevere through time. Our minds being subdued by the forces of nature and we fall asleep.

Looking up into the heavens that is the sky of the night we witness the gentle intensity

of godly forces, reminding us that among our greatest and strongest we are pitful in the wake of the magnificance of the starry universe. The night is peculiar, it's temperature is brisk, it's illumination distinct, it's sublime glow resonating within us a perception we forgot that we had. We are a whole other creature under the blanket of darkness that fills our starry sky. As we peer into the darkness our soul is carried off into space. We fall in and fall out of self awareness, our cares waning away. Everything we look at captivates us, our mind is a feeble child taken away by the comforting hand of adoration. It's only in the brisk of the night that we realise the wake of ourselves from our daily slumber. While we pretend we are awake in the daylight, it seems we only feel alive in the fascination of majesty of stars. Yet, the stars are transient, when we gaze upon them, we are absorbed by them and slowly dissipated out. It is like we are the air that the solar system breathes, we are among the breathes of a greater creature.

What is going on with this world!? Armies clash upon the surface of land, sea and air launching warheads that rip apart anything in it's wake like a fearsome lion tearing the limbs off of it's prey. Politicians conspire, steal, horde and cheat from their offices of civil duty. Our bretheren, our family, our neighbors all guilty of betrayal and crime. Our televisions, radios and computers everyday bombarding images of rot and decay of our current existence. We look into the abyss that is our abysmal lives and see trouble after trouble, vanity after vanity, toil after toil and all in vain. Religuous leaders gather around military and national leaders and rather than bring unity they bring divide through conquest and brutality. Those we have trusted have left us doomed and astray. Criminals fill our streets and occupy our minds.

What are there of men today!? What are our women!? This wretched earth screams like a bastard child demanding more than it deserves and it isn't worth my time! I've grown disgusted at looking at it. It's either screaming, whining, screetching or bickering. It never shuts up and it never goes away! I just wish I could hit it and make it feel a bit of the torment it puts me through, if not in the very least to ease my temper. What's worse is the do-gooders! Oh, how they preach of their utopia, these utopias all at the cost of my hard work and earnings! Even if we find a utopia they babble on and on about, will they ever give thanks to me!? The one who funded their damned delusion! Ofcoarse not! I am bitter and resentful. My heart feels like a burn wound, it is inflammed, irrated, decayed and compromised. Nothing all but a bunch of hoolie whos and flousies ruining my day.

Another day passes. Time moves along. It's always relaxing to go outside of a rural railroad and watch the trains chu-ga-lu-ga-ing along. It reminds me of myself. Just a train, going from A to B. I'm hot in the engine and cool from a window. The quaking earth is rocks my socks. The smell of machinery, the fine hint of morning dew on the looming wild grass. It's really nice. Better than being around those damned busy bodies back in town with their motor mouths and silly fantasies. I'm just a train too. I get my brief moments in the glorious outdoors, I get my dooming entrapment in the murky city. I am just on a rail, choo-choo. But I feel pretty good. That is until I have to get back to town, damn it.

It's night time again, another day, another night goes by. I'm looking up at the sky, I really don't know what I am doing when I do. I am caught in awe. The glimmering rays flickering off the stars. It looks like they speak to each other, or maybe that's just my imagination. I am going to believe it because I want to. I don't really remember whatever it is that was going on before this when I look up at the stars. I just kinda get entranced, it's like they possess me as if they were some foriegn spirit. It is weird what they do. The dark depth of the sky, everything just ceases to exist but these shimmering stars. Time goes by and poof! There I am a whole new me! It's not like this in the day time. For whatever reason, it's like when you see nothing but one thing, you become possessed and when you have a million things to see you kind of just become dazed to anything but the raw feelings around you. It's like in daytime you can only feel and in night time you can only think. But when you only feel or you only think you lose yourself entirely. I know that when you gaze upon a star, it becomes the only thing you know, the darkness of space erodes reality itself. When you look up at the sun, well... You get sore eyes and it's probably not a very smart thing to do if you're driving on the road. But, anyways. Another day will break soon and it's back to whatever mindnumbing tasks await. Until that time though, I think that the next star I gaze into I should try to make it a happy one. It's nice that we can see the stars and be ensnared in their majesty, it truly is. Just as it's nice to feel the warmth of day, but both of these things can rob you of what it is they also give you. That same joy can also be a burden and sometimes being stuck in either sense can be quite a pain.
