Why do people bully other people for just being a virgin?

Okay this is just STUPID, I'm a virgin and i don't see what's wrong with that! I actually prefer to stay a virgin until i give it to my husband when i get married. Why do idiots prefer virgins as losers? One thing's for sure, i don't want to get pregnant at a young age, i don't want to be called a whore,
and i don't want to bring shame on myself and my family!
I'd rather be pure.
THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING A VIRGIN!
I just want to know why do people bully other people for being virgins. Just…Why?

So, why do you feel it is acceptable to bully non-virgins? Having sex doesn't make someone a 'whore.' Having sex doesn't mean a person is irresponsible about it and will get STD's or get pregnant. And I certainly don't see how having sex would bring "shame" on someone and their family. That's an extreme viewpoint.

Being a virgin doesn't make someone a loser and having sex doesn't make someone a slut. Judging by everything you said in your question, clearly you're no better than the non-virgins who supposedly bully you. Realistically, no one has the right to "bully" anyone based on their sex life (or lack thereof). There's nothing wrong with being a virgin and there's nothing wrong with having sex either. Having sex or choosing to remain abstinent are life decisions that everyone has the right to make for themselves. It's a personal decision and it's no one else's business.

The OP is not bullying anyone for being a non-virgin. You guys need to educate yourselves and grow up. Nowadays, more people bully a person for being a virgin than for being a non-virgin. The point is that no one should bully or tease anyone for their values, preferences or choices to remain a virgin until marriage or their choice to have sex before marriage, etc. People need to mind their own business regarding other people's choices. It's ok to make a valid choice to save sex until marriage because that the individual person's choice. The smartest way to prevent most occurrences of unwanted STD's or unwanted pregnancies is to save sex until one is at least in a long-term relationship with someone you know will commit to you and maintain a long-term relationship with you or with someone who is willing to commit to marrying you. Sure, I think that no one should disrespect or shame someone for choosing to have sex. It's your life and your choice, but the same thing applies to people who choose abstinence; it's their life and their choice. The OP may have been raised in a family or cultural background where saving sex until marriage is heavily valued or emphasized and there's nothing wrong with that. And in many cultures, the behavior of individual family members can bring shame upon the entire family. This happens in certain collectivist cultures with certain attitudes.
Anyway, I think that abstinence until marriage is someone's choice just like anything else. I hate it when people stigmatize those who choose sexual abstinence until marriage. It seems like their "sex positivity" is one-sided. Remaining abstinent is a choice just like any other choice and there's nothing wrong with that. I hate this mentality that people nowadays think that premarital sex is necessary to prepare for sexual compatibility in marriage.

A lot of people are virgin, but it isn't by choice. They're just sexually undesirable. So virgins are often just considered undesirable people to associate with (ie, losers)
