I have worked hard over the past 12 months and I am in the best shape of my life. I am going to uni soon and I want girls to know that I have a nice body. So I want to post a picture on Facebook lol.

Is there a way to do it without seeming like a complete douche bag? Do you think that guys who post shirtless pics are douchebags?

It needs to not be a selfie, not be trying to hard to be impressive. Generally girls aren't impressed by what impresses other guys. It needs to be soft and intimate as if your girlfriend took an adorable, candid, personal photo of you. You need to look into the camera as if you are looking at the girl of your dreams. You can still look buff without looking stupidly 'macho'. To me when guys try to put on a persona of tough and macho it makes them look douchey. You don't want to look like you'd choose the gym over a date with your girl or worse take your girl to the gym for a date. Practice, take lots of pictures before you decide to upload one and get some female friends to take some and comment on which they prefer. Good Luck

Posting a shirtless selfie pretty much always comes across as attention-seeking.

If you want to post a shirtless picture, I'd say go with a picture taken by someone else in a situation where there's a reason for you to be shirtless. For example, a picture of you at the beach.
