Girls: Should guys upload shirtless photos?

Is it strange if I guy was to upload shirtless photos in a mirror as a profile picture or just to his profile?

Every time I see a guy with a shirtless photo I immediately think the guy is a douche bag and full of himself. If the picture was taken through a mirror that makes it even worse. What would you think of a girl taking pictures of herself in her bra an underwear? Pretty trashy right... Same thing applies

It's weird when it's a profile photo - usually comes off a bit lacking in class, the same as if you saw a girl wearing her bra / panties and took a picture of her body for a profile picture.

Of course not, that's more acceptable than a woman uploading a topless photo.

If I see a guy that uploaded a topless photo I'd assume he is proud of his body (I'd prefer that than someone who is insecure anyday).

Not strange, just stupid. Makes it look like you're trying too hard. Unless you're at the beach, keep your shirt on! Guys that put up shirtless pics without cause (like an event that was photographed that would warrant it) are only pushing the Pathetic Button.

shirtless photos are only sexy when it's not the guy who's taking a picture of himself and he's in a place where he has a reason to be shirtless. otherwise it's no different than when girls post in the mirror in their bikinis. it makes them look like that's all they have to offer and attention seeking. there was a guy that I liked A LOT who took a picture shirtless and in the bathroom mirror (and he's built) but after seeing that picture I've never been more turned off..

im just curious, really? I once liked a guy a lot and then he sent me a shirtless picture like that, very well built... and ever since that there wasn't very much conversation now that I think about it hmm.. kinda makes sense lol

i guess I just find it sexier when a hot guy doesn't feel the need to parade his body around. :) to me it shows confidence when a guy knows he can get attention without having to go out of his way to take a picture of himself shirtless in the mirror. when I see those kind of pictures I feel as if that's all the guy really has to offer (not to sound mean).

I think it makes them look extremely pathetic and desperate for attention and a self esteem boost. ESPECIALLY when their body isn't even all that great and it's slightly disappointing.
