Is my nails too long or gross?

so often I get complimented on my nails but lately people tell me it's too long or gross and that I should cut it. What do you think?

Yuck. Sorry, but I think they are too long. How do you wipe your backside? How do you do anything? ! I have long nails, natural, but not like that. I use my hands for far too much to have nails like that.

Plus square nails I find hideous. Why they are still in fashion I don't know, they look cheap and take when they are square.

Trust me, that's not harsh. I asked those questions genuinely as I have to stop growing mine for those reasons.

Also, how do you get gloves on over them? Yourself you use gloves to make food, which is unnecessary even with long nails, but I find it difficult with shorter nails, no idea how you would get them over those.

If you're going to have an extreme feature then expect some extreme responses.

I've never had issues with gloves. I've noticed the top photo makes them look slightly longer then they are, the second one is more better in those terms. Like I said I barely make food, but on the rare occasion if it's the type of food that requires you to use you hands and get them dirty I wear gloves. They fit perfectly, I've never had any issues.

They were genuine questions, I struggle with mine and have to cut them quite often. But I do a lot of things. I cook and clean, chop wood and work in the garden. Also around kids it's difficult, end up scratching them it's horrible but with little ones you sometimes have to grab them to safety.

I think it's because we love different lifestyles, it may not be suitable for everyone. I'm only 19 so at this age there isn't much getting in my way to force me to cut them. Keep in mind they aren't always this long. Usually when they get this long I cut them half way again to regrow

They stick out on the sides way too much, so you don't need to shorten them, just cut them on the sides even if not in a round way.

How do you get them so long without breaking?

To be honest I don't do much, just file it every two weeks to ensure my nails are smooth otherwise nothing. They've always been naturally strong

Are thjey real? They are ok for now but if you make someone a Sandwhich I am sure they dont want your nails touching there food, you have to really wash them well in super hot water for 30 sex at least before your done washing

Nothing wrong with making a sandwhich for a person, dont take it as a women Lib kind of thing. Anyway If your making dinner or anything helping out food related that someone is going to eat you can't have long nails touch the plate where you eat off from or the food. I went to Boston Market this chick had her long painted up nails right next to my food it may have been touching plus they were on my plate as well I came so close from just walking out

Didn't wanna sound rude, I didn't think like that. I know there is nothing wrong with making sandwiches, I just meant I generally don't so I didn't think it would be an issue for me. I rarely make food but if I do, I wear gloves
