I'd say chubby is being overweight but you still have your figure just something extra to hold onto fat is once you reached the obese point.

@Zendrya actually most of the population (at least in America) is overweight. There's nothing wrong with being fat though. I don't get hey its an insult. Fat doesn't equal ugly fat can be beautiful. So if she's fat who cares because she still looks pretty good

Chubby is when you just have a little extra fat but not necessarily too much where fat is when you're overweight and are at risk to your health... at least that's how I see it.
