Opinions on getting dumped over the phone?

I have done it but only in a long distance relationship. When I had to choose between having the guy drive an hour to see me or talk over the phone, I have chosen to talk over the phone. But this also came with several in-person talks about how things were not working for me and they were things that he couldn't or shouldn't change, just stuff he was trying to hide initially that were deal-breakers.

I think getting dumped of the phone.. is low and and he doesn't have the balls to say it to your face. I think that it is immature and stupid. I hate when guys do that bcuz it shows they don't have the respect for you to say it to you in person.

I would say it's a upgrade from getting Facebook, MySpace, or any other internet related way breakup.

I'd like to say I'd want to do mine in person.. but I've never had a girlfriend, therefore I've never had a breakup. I'm pretty shy and such so I may be a phone breakup-er but I would never stoop so low as to text message it or MySpace, Facebook it. lol

I actually prefer to be dumped over the phone or via email or whatever because then the guy can't see me hurt in person which would make it 50 times more humiliating
