My parents caught me drunk at a party?

Last weekend i went to a party and got super drunk and i ended up walking home and throwing up everywhere. My parents were super disappointed but they did not ground me as they said they need to regain my trust. There is another party 2 weeks from now and I'm not sure if i should ask to go or not, I obviously would not be drinking. Any ideas on what i should do? Im new to this school and i don't want to miss this party because it could be a good chance too make friends but i also don't want to make my parents angry by asking to go.

Here is what me and my parents did... My parents are pretty down to earth and realize kids are going to party and underage drink. They never allowed it or liked it, but they wanted us safe too. So we came up with an agreement that if there was a party, and to keep us safe, my parents would drive us there and pick us up at a respectable time. As long as we weren't falling down drunk and puking everywhere, (like you were, LOL), they would allow a little bit of drinking. We were good kids and the respect went both ways. Maybe try a mature approach to your parents and tell them you are going to party no matter what, but you want to be safe and responsible about it and ask them if they could give you a ride there and pick you up after!

Just ask them and let them know you won't be drinking. Tell them what you wrote here, that you're new to the school and wanna make friends and all.
The worst is that they'd say No. But you won't know if you don't ask.
