Is Junko Furuta story real?

There are so many reasons to believe its made up or at least a bit part of it. Is there any evidence this girl existed beside those 2 photos? Where is her grave, her family? Sylvia Likens case was in 60s and we know so much more about it. How did her mother didn't search for her 44 days? Where is the court case? Why didn't a single serious television talked about it? How in the world, after all those things she had to endure, she had left enough energy and strenght to play a game with those guys and even beat them at it?

i read wikipedia but there are lots of people who say its fiction. Or if not the whole story, a big part. Some say she was 17 other 16. How her mother believed she stays at a friend for 44 days? After being raped tortured beaten burnt... some sites say that she was playing a game with the boy just before she dies and she beat them at it... and thats the reason they killed her. who could survive 44 days that sadistic torture? why there are no real evidences? like sylvia likens. even now in 1017 peoepel and relatives are talking about her but Junko its like she never existed. Some photos with corpse pretend to be real but they are from movie
