What are your texting pet peeves? (Page 2)

What annoys you about texting? It really grinds my gears when someone is bombarding me with messages if I don't answer within a few seconds.  "Did something happen?" "Are you still there?" "Are you mad at me?"  No, I'm taking a dump, relax.  Another thing that annoys me is when people are too lazy to spell  you  and  are . It doesn't take that much time to type  you  instead of  u  and  are  instead of  r .  There are plenty more things that annoy me because I apparently get annoyed very easily. Please share some of your pet peeves so that I won't seem so petty. 😅

Chatspeak and being called 'hun'.

I am contradicting myself here but people who disappear in the middle of a text conversation... as well as being texted twice, thrice or more and getting a call because I didn't say hello back to someone.

people that over use abriviations ( not sure how to spell that) like ttyl and smh, then i know people that will only reply with something like igtsadw and i have no clue what they mean, then THEY get pissed because they have to spell it out

Misspelling words. Improper grammar. Not writing out full words. Whenever I text, I always end in a punctuation mark. Now, this latter one isn't a peeve of mine if others don't do it, per se, but it's something that I'm just used to doing. I'm not sure if it bothers others.

One of my pet peeves are when you put thought into a message and your girlfriend messages with a one word message. Or if I send her a text she'll take an hour to respond but she'll just respond with a one word answer omg that drives me crazy. Or if her friend is online she'll rather talk to her most of the time but when her friend is not online that much or is busy she'll talk to me really fast. But of course when I do that she gets pissed at me.
