I hate abbreviations. It just irks me to have someone send me a message with abbreviations.
I know that not everyone is good with punctuations and all, I also make mistakes sometimes, but then, it's irritating when someone writes something without proper punctuations or without punctuations at all. Most times, I don't even understand.
Don't even get me started on bad grammar. I read books on this app called Wattpad and no matter how interesting that book is, bad grammar can make me not read that book. Texting isn't any different.
Don't blame me, my mom studied English, so it was all part of my childhood training..
One word answers are a conversation killer. Also, when someone just turns every question around on you because they can't be arsed to come up with their own shit. So, you say "What are you up to?" and they tell you and then say "You?". So you reply and ask them if they have any plans for tomorrow and they tell you and say "You?". Etc. It's like throwing a tennis ball against a wall when you actually want a fucking game of tennis.
Well I don't know if this one counts or not, but when a situation arises & someone I know texts me about it. That person wants me to give him/her a full detailed explanation through text.
My first thought on that is,"I'm not going to give a so-called bachelor thesis or a master thesis type of a detailed explanation through text. I'll just call the person & explain everything to him/her through the phone call. Giving a so called 4-10 page thesis through text is a little ridiculous & a waste of time".
When someone texts 'K' or being left on read or when you are talking about something that deserves a long response and you get a short response and you kinda feel a bit dejected and that because I respond fast that I seem like a loser when in fact I like to not keep people waiting, wondering why they aren't getting a response.
1. "Hey" at like, 1:30 AM. You probably already know what kind of people do this. 2. Saying "K" after I pour out my heart's content 3. Taking FOREVER to reply, but getting mad when I do it 4. "Lol". If something is funny, I need to see "ASOHYLKCZGTOGYOJ" or "RIP" or "☠️☠️☠️" or "😭😭😭"... you get the jist. Not really a big deal, but in my mind, "lol" means nothing. It's below the bar.
Not done! 5. Whenever people do the most trying to misspell something like "wahw zhat ez crazzxii" wtf 6. Texting "haha" like in all lowercase letters. "Haha" in general (alone or in between words/with sentences), but "haha" makes me want to make them delete my number. It's annoying.
"I went to the park today" ___beep beep "on a bike ride"___beep beep "with Katie"____beep beep "it was so hot"___beep beep and the trail was bumpy"__beep beep "I rode behind, her"__ beep "the whole way"__beep beep so I could stare at her ass"__beep beep
I'm an easygoing guy and text messaging is great! You'd have to be trying hard to annoy me.
Only frustration is not sending a response if it's called for. I don't want to be that guy who messages you too much, so I limit myself to two if you don't respond.
If you don't respond, I'll never know why. But what can ya do?
When people stop texting you out of tge blue then 20 to 30 minutes later they make an excuse why they text you late, but if you do that them then its big deal. My rules is after 10 minutes you haven't replied back then im gone for the day til i feel like getting bk to you.
When people leave me on read, or just don't carry on the conversation. For instance, after they answer a question with a "Ya lol," in order to keep the conversation going with them I must ask another question which then causes me to look like a clingy idiot.
Oh, my gosh. That annoys me, too. Sometimes when someone asks me a question and I don't respond immediately, they go "?". And I'm just thinking, first off, calm your tits, and secondly, that's just rude. So then I deliberately take my time.
umm.. for me text peeves are like.. answering only in yes or no... even if i try my best to interact.. but when the answer comes with only a single word like yes or no... then it's kinda turns me down. and the first thing you mentioned that bombarding with messages.. lol.. i feel helpless.
To be honest I sometimes use single word answers to try and end the conversation without actually saying "I don't want to talk to you". 😅 I know it's dumb but telling them straight up would feel so harsh.
haha.. i can feel you. in that situation it's okay or may be you can say that i will talk to you later.. i guess it won't hurt a person.. but yeah not sure what the other person will take this in what way. yet you have a cause to use this kind of conversation but i have come across with many people while chatting they just start using single word answers from the beginning.. lol. ahh.. well.. it might not be an appropriate cause of getting annoyed because everyone has theor own interest of talking and reason of ending a conversation.
When I tell someone to give me 10 minutes because I'm busy trying to sort out errands. Then 5 seconds later they keep sending messages and calling me. I turn my phone off because I just get annoyed and turn it back on when I'm done.
Also I don't generally mind when people don't respond to my texts. But when it's something I need to know urgently and they've read it and still haven't replied I get really pissed off
I find my biggest pet peeves are one word responses =/ I associate them with people being upset with me. If you're not upset with someone it still conveys irritation and such. Sometimes your friends just want to know you're okay, and they want to help you out, and you can unintentionally push them away by making them feel they're an irritation or hindrance.
I absolutely hate the phrase "how are you?" Or "what you up to" Because while I normally give a detailed response when I ask them back they'all give me a blunt answer 😑 Generally when I talk to people I want them to get straight to the point of something or a conversation.
When you've been talking for a while through text and then they suddenly leave (they go sleep, or just forget that they're talking to someone). It's so much more annoying if he was the one who initiated the conversation. Another pet peeve of mine is when I text long messages and they answer it one or two words. It just makes the person on the receiving end feel like you don't like talking to them
I hate it when I know people are by their phone and I have serious stuff to discuss (like school projects or RSVPing for parties) but no one will answer. I don't bombard them every 30 seconds or hour, but these are people that have it so attached to them at the hip that they get nervous turning it off for movies.
I hate when people don't know the difference between "your" & "you're" lol. I also hate when people are short & boring but expect the convo to continue... THAT SHIT PISSES ME OFF. If you hit me with a "lol", "haha", "yeah", "k", & etc... I will automatically stop texting you!
It annoys me when my friends text me for no reason but to start a random conversation. I only use texting for making plans, asking an important question, etc.
If I wanted to have a conversation with someone, I would've hit up the group chat to see if anyone wanted to go out, so we could talk IRL.
In addition to the u and r thing, ghosting, and k, I really hate it when you're trying to text someone that can't carry a conversation to save their life. You stop constantly responding with a story or question and then the entire comversation dies. Lol. Makes me quickly re-evaluate why I'm even talking to them in the first place.

Ghosting and people that use the word 'bae' ... its dutch for poo you know

i hate you.
Thank you😳😙

Good thing we speak American which is English and to most girls it means before all else I 🤔 anyway lol not sure

better yet when you making love to him and you passed the fuck out on them talking about not being able to hold a conversation my bad ===D
