Invisalign or metal braces?

I have three gaps. I want them closed and my slight lisp will hopefully go away. I want fast results but more permanent, was wondering if anyone here had metal braces/Invisalign before and can tell me their results?

Invisalign is more expensive and invasalign or metal, u are still going to have to put on retainers for the rest of ur life

I went with metal since it was $2k cheaper, had braces for 2 years and have been wearing my retainers every night while i sleep l for 4 years and still do til this day

I had braces the invisalign hadn't been invented yet but my cousin's orthodontist told her that if the teeth are crooked badly or a severe overbite metal braces are needed. He did both and put metal braces on her teeth.

I wore braces for not quite 5 years and I'm happy with my teeth. I had a bad overbite because my teeth are too big for my jaw and had 4 teeth pulled and years later had my wisdom teeth removed.
