A young Russian woman has staged a solo protest by pulling up her skirt on the St. Petersburg subway, protesting so-called upskirting – the practice wherein men take pictures under the skirt of an unaware victim.
I support that woman

What are your thoughts about this woman, who is pulling up her skirt in a crowded station to protest?
Since she was protesting she should have went all the way and pulled her black panties down and shown everybody whether she had a "Landing Strip", a "Fuzzy Triangle" or was completely shaved.
If she had it out long enough maybe she would have seen how many guys would have come over to her and got on their knees and starting eating her out and you never know she might have cum there right in front of everybody!!!
Until I read the description I had no idea what she was protesting. I don’t want guys taking pictures up my skirt either, but standing in public with my dress pulled up like that seems counterproductive. And how was anyone supposed to know she was protesting anything. If I saw her I would’ve thought she was either crazy (clinically) or desperate for attention.
If she really wanted people to get it, than she could have a sign by her saying why she was doing it. Else wise we all think she’s attention seeking or just trying to grace us with her pretty cookie cut undies...
People protest to get attention to their cause. I'm not so sure if that's the best form or way to go about it, since it doesn't seem like it's really hitting the mark with most. But, yeah I support her view on the subject. It's kind of hard to police this as well, since you have to spot check possibly a person's phone images, then you get into a whole other area of abuse of rights. Maybe someone should come up with a way that when someone does use their phone in such a way that it sends a signal that this has been down to whoever polices this? Or, just understand that some guys are ignorant and piggish and will do these things and go about your time. This is what happens with technology. Technology can be used for good, but eventually, someone will find a means to use it for gain or theft or something that is unlawful.
But on a side note, damn fine ass! Sorry I'm a guy...

To me, it's like she's saying, is this what you want to see, you fucking perverts? I just shown it to you fucking perverts so are you fucking happy now? I think she had just saved those perverts' time to look for women and girls to take under their skirt pictures. If only there were more protests like these, then the perverts can pay more attention to the protester and become distracted enough by them so that they won't even need to go around to try and take under the skirt pictures when there's already somebody revealing what's under their skirt. Maybe protesters like her might actually help reduce victims that don't want attention by drawing attention to those perverts themselves and keep them occupied and distracted.
She's already victimizing herself already. She already got her picture and video taken. One can do so without actually doing what she says she's against. It's hypocritical. Then if I say it, then it's shaming her. Can't win. Well, at least everybody can see what her underwear looks like. Correct me if I'm wrong about this but I'm surprised nobody arrested her for flashing.
So, not to devalue the cause she is protesting or anything but, if I were to walk down a crowded street and a woman just randomly pulls up her skirt (I have no idea what her intention is), the first thought would be like 'wut?' followed by a shrug and I'll just move on doing what I was supposed to do.

I voted for C. I'm sure, many men n women would've agreed with her, if she chose a civil way to go about it. But I'm also sure that many men totally ignored the cause and said "she's hot" immidiately when they saw these pics lol
Showing off your butt and cute panties in a subway terminal is stupid. I didn't know trying to take upskirt shots of strangers was a thing, outside of porn. But it might help deter people from trying to take upskirt pics, since a girl openly lifting her skirt it certainly less work than trying to sneak an upskirt shot with your phone.
This is similar to when all those women walked around topless to "Free the nipple" and make breasts "not sexualized" but in reality just gave everyone attracted to women a nice show and didn't come anywhere close to their goal.
Free the nipple is for equal rights because many state had laws prohibiting women from being topless but those laws allowed men to go topless but the free the nipple movement has actually helped a lot and now 45 states allow women to go topless in public. Free the nipple is also a movement that is discouraging sexualization of women's nipples. Although I disagree with your views on this I respect your opinion and hope you have a great day.
Interesting that she did that at every subway station in St Petersburg, with only a few people paying attention to her, and only one guy apparently telling her to stop.
The video is pretty old, from 2017. I wonder if the protest accomplished anything.

Protesting something that is already illegal? Unless there's some kind of epidemic of up-skirt photography that is being willfully ignored it's just a dumb protest. I'm assuming there isn't and that it's already illegal, but correct me if I'm wrong. Honestly, if this is to be considered profound in some way then why don't we protest murder? I don't care who you are, people dying is *literally always* more important than people taking up-skirt pictures of you.
The logic is rather twisted. If people were breaking into your house to steal your stuff, would you put your valuables on the front lawn as an act of protest?
However, I think she did succeed in bringing attention to the issue.

I am going to protest selling cigarettes to kids is bad by giving kids cigarettes. Notice, no one paid any attention to her until she lifted her skirt.
Not gonna happen because this post GaG decided to feature on homepage is 7 years old.
But on another note, I prefer it for women to dress like whores. You see them, you might pitch a tent but that's it. You don't feel harmed from seeing a whore.
