Yes. One of the best looking guys I know looks like a shark in photos. But like a model in real life. His looks don't translate to the camera for some reason.

Yes, even when I do decide to take selfies or put up pics on dating site, i tend to do retakes because I didn't like the way photos turned out.

It's interesting because almost every time I've I've went on a date with a girl I met on a dating site, they mention something along the lines of "Wow you're better looking in person."

Not really. It’s very known that a lot of models actually look like plain janes in real life, because their sharpe jawlines and fierce features may look pretty in a pic but in real life it’s not attractive.
