Does anyone hate driving long distances?

I hate driving or riding in my car for a long period of time. It makes me feel anxious.

I'm not a big fan of driving in general, tbh. But, I think that's a reasonable sentiment, considering the road and weather conditions here. For a few months out of the year, I don't even feel safe driving within residential areas, let alone having a long highway drive.

Having nice, dry, smooth roads would help, but even then, I probably wouldn't be a fan of long drives, considering that I'm the kind of jittery and antsy person that can barely handle sitting long enough to finish a movie.

I'd rather drive or ride in my car than public transits. Coz it's fun! I can stop and go whenever I want to take pics of beautiful scenery or sit down to eat and use the potty. lol It is funnnnnn especially with your friends or family

It depends, I don't particularly like it but sometimes it's okay! I drove to London from home which took about 3/4 hours (cant remember) and I hated it, but on the way back it was fine and I quite enjoyed it

It's not so much that I hate it, It's just that it gets boring, and after a while out butts start hurting from sitting around. A couple of times, we had to go around the Washington DC road network (a special hell unto itself), and then take I95 all the way down to Hilton Head SC. We had to break up the driving by going to South Of The Border, which was so tacky it was entertaining.

I miss going on long drive. I always enjoyed them. If you're driving alone I can get how that could make you anxious.

In Europe it can be a PITA, with all those traffic jams. I drove Brussels-Athens and back (6000km), Brussels-Palermo and back (5000km). And not with fast comfortable cars. I won't do it again

Doesn’t bother me, I’ve done quite a few +12 hour days on the road. What makes me anxious is driving with people want stop and get out all the time. I stop when I need gas and that’s it.

If someone else is driving it is fine I will just go to sleep but driving long distance sucks it take too get there and back.
