a lot of you men are saying no, but I think your thinking more of physically being pregnant not all the other shit that come with the pregnancy and the baby.
Like all the decision making, most of you are jealous that women can choose life or death for the baby. I know a lot of men think they deserve a say if the women gets a abortion. This was already mentioned in a opinion, just thought I'd use it as a example

Jealous, not really. However, that does not lessen the admiration I have for the heroism - and it is that - women show in pregnancy and childbirth.

To start selfishly, when my girlfriend was pregnant - we have three children, boy, boy girl, the first two unplanned - I thought that she was the hottest, sexiest most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Luckily, after the first trimester, her carnal drive went off the charts and we had some amazing sex, but she always complained that she looked like a truck. I never saw it and it was a massive turn-on to see her naked.

(Turns out, according to science I later learned, that I was having an instinctive male reaction. Thanks to evolutionary instinct for that one.)

Second, seeing her in labor and feeling totally helpless and all I could do - this was true especially the first time, by number three, I felt like a pro - was hold her hand and worry. In the midst of all the pain and discomfort she looked at me and she smiled and mouthed the words, "I love you."

Honestly, I was over the moon. Here she was, going through all this, giving me the most beautiful gift that a woman can give to a man, and in the midst of all that she noticed my worry and reassured me and told me she loved me.

Never have I felt more love and never have I felt more unworthy of being loved. I could never repay such love and at that moment all I could think was that I would do anything for my girlfriend and my baby and I would die to protect them.

There are also moments when I see her now with our children and I sort of envy the bond that they share. That is not a big deal though. I have something with her and my children that goes beyond describing and I would not give that up or trade it for anything.

So, not really jealousy as admiration and respect. Things work out between men and women pretty much as they should, so I would not swap places. Still, you cannot help but be impressed and totally grateful and in love for what a woman does for you when she becomes impregnated by you and carries your baby and then places that beautiful wonderful sqwaking little gift in your arms.

Though I have to laugh. You'll note that I mentioned that by our third baby I was feeling like a pro. That is not quite true. In fact, I was really nervous even though I knew more or less what to expect. It is still hard in that you see the woman you love in some pretty serious discomfort and you want to help and you are absolutely useless. Never do you feel more helpless.

Still, as I was getting my girlfriend into the car to go to the hospital I said, "Don't worry honey, we've got this thing nailed." Even through contractions and the pain and all the rest she looked at me and rolled her eyes. (She has to do that a lot with me.)

Still, suffice to say, I am the biggest milksop in the universe when it comes to my girlfriend and our little munchkins. I know it is not a lot of fun for my girlfriend, but there was just something so beautiful about when she was pregnant and in childbirth. Believe me, I get those tears you say you shed - I shed them too.

I get up in the middle of the night and I look in on my little munchkins and see them sleeping there so peacefully. Better still, when I come home from work and they run up and are so excited to see me and they hug and kiss me. Those three little people who light up my world. There is no feeling like it.
Then to wake up with this beautiful loving woman next to me. The woman who gave everything to me to give me those three beautiful little gifts and who accepts me with all my flaws. To feel so warm and safe and loved. I hold her and feel her next to me and the whole world just seems better.

Believe me, I got more than I ever deserved - and I never ever forget it.
