That would depend on how devoted they are to the Quran.
Just like any holy book if you follow it too closely you will not fit in with today's society.
There's a passage in the Bible about killing people who wear mixed Fabrics or something like that.
And lots of talk about Muhammad's wife who I do believe was quite young.

What your referring to in the bible about mixed fabrics, was a commandment however it does not say anything about killing you if do it and also, its in the old testament which was during different covenant than what is in the new testament, meaning the new testament is like a new deal, to put it the simplest of terms.

I think it wouldn’t work. He would probably be uncomfortable with having a Jewish roommate who brings women home with him. I don’t drink alcohol, but He’d have to have his own fridge since I’m not keeping milk and meat separate and I don’t think everything I eat would be halal.

Well, we typically don’t have roommates here in the Netherlands (as in, the same room). I wouldn’t want any roommate tbh.


I have lived with a Muslim woman from Afghanistan for like 2 years when attending university, so that’s fine with me. She was lovely.

From what I gather, their is in many Muslim countries as natural dichotomy (not a schism) between culture and religion (i. e. Turkey and Pakistan or Iran and Saudi Arabia).
That being said, a persons behavior is determined by their religion or culture. A delusional Muslim who believes that everything is determined by Allah has the same pathology as a murderous follower of John Calvin.

I had a Pakistani roommate before there was no problem. He was kinda messy though but that's more of a roommate problem than a Muslim problem.

First and foremost, they're just people. I remember one job I worked at where we'd go to a pub every Friday lunchtime, but during Ramadan, we'd go to one with a pool table, because one of us couldn't eat or drink, but he could still have fun.
