To tell me that I don't have empathy like they know me. To think I'm trying to be "cool" about saying that I like dismembered corpses. All I did was gave her a little info about me after I said that I was searching for Bianca's nearly severed head because I take an interest into looking at dismembered corpses. It's not like I do it for a living; it's not everyday that I decide to took at dismembered corpses. I know it's not normal and all, but for crying out loud, can't anyone have a interest without getting criticized for it?
Everyone has different interests. What point of me having a different type of interest can't the user get in their head?

I'd also note you seem annoyed by her making judgements about your thoughts without really knowing you. You also then don't really know her? So perhaps you shouldn't be judging her thoughts. Accept she's got her own ideas based on her own experiences

Then that makes the two of us. She came at me with criticisms, yet she said she wasn't uncomfortable. Maybe it might've been a sensitive topic, and I don't really know what's sensitive to people anymore. Yeah, we don't each other, so how will I know that I'm making this person annoyed or uncomfortable or both? I quit trying.

That was my point, and not in a snarky way. I'm just encouraging you to recognize just like you might react emotionally to what she says, other people are doing the same back. None of us are perfect rational beings.

It can be hard to know what topics are sensitive to people, but death, gore, atrocities, abuse, sexual abuse are often enough that it's worth getting a sense of other people's thoughts. I'd add to that religion, ethics, politics, abortion, transgender rights as areas that some people are interested in discussing calming even when they disagree, and some people are very uncomfortable having their ideas questioned in that space.

Totally agree. I get a similar reaction from people when I tell them I like to forcibly restrain and sodomize 17 year old girls against their will and people just freak out about that.
