My husband is a registered sex offender and now I want kids?

My husband got in trouble years before we got married or even meet because of a miss understanding that ruined his life and after doing lots of research when we first got to know each other and hearing him out I decided that it was fine their were no victims no pictures or anything it’s legitimately stupid and he was being a dumb ass
I rather not go into details because it’s a long ass story though
But he is a father of 3 from his previous marriage and his ex wife has gotten angry with him and threatened to say he touched his daughter if he doesn’t do as she wants so he has constant fear he doesn’t interact with her as much as his sons out of fear
And now we’re trying to have a baby and he says that he doesn’t want to do bathing or changing of our baby especially if it’s a girl
I don’t think that’s fair and it’s stressing me out

I know he’d never do anything to his or our kids or any kids in general and it’s just ridiculous because I feel like I’m basically going to be a single mom because he doesn’t want to help with our kid

Again Children weren’t involved in his crime no one was at all so yes I do

Remember the part where I said I did research 🧐 I also know people who are sex offenders for peeing outside and someone who’s a sex offender for kissing someone when they were in elementary school he was 8 she was 6 sooooooo being that you don’t know my husbands charges and there’s no people involved at all I’d appreciate it if you stop assuming my husband touches kids 😁

I also looked into his records and read the police report 🙃 since he didn’t hurt anyone and the evidence was literally extremely minimal I decided that he was not a threat and he’s not we’ve been together 3 years no issues at all he already has kids like i said as well
And my question wasn’t about whether I wanted your approval to have kids it was about the fact that he’s afraid to have a relationship with his daughter and doesn’t think he should have to help with our kids once I have them because he’s afraid people like you will make accusations

@Pterodon “The courts don’t label people sex offenders without hard evidence” the heck are you talking about? This type of thing is common and happens more than you may care to realize. There’s a good portion of empirical and statistical data to back this up as well. You speak as if the court and the system does no wrong or injustice.
